For Wright Patterson AFB FamCamp: Excellent facility with plenty of sites. We have a teardrop trailer and we’re very happy in “dry camping†area ($10). Wide open field with picnic table and no neighbors while RV lot was full. Bass lake has fishing, showers were clean and tidy. Laundry area $1.50 to wash and dry one load. Staff was great. Use gate 12a for entry.

For Wright Patterson AFB FamCamp: Got a last minute reservation and stayed one night in site 17. FamCamp was full, sites were gravel and somewhat close but it was quiet and we enjoyed the evening. The bath house was centrally locates and clean. We entered the base thru the Hope Hotel gate and exited thru the commercial gate, close to the FamCamp the next morning. It was a nice stop for $25! We would def stay again!

For Wright Patterson AFB FamCamp: Very nice, hookups good, bathrooms/showers and office closed due to covid. Easy to get a hold of park personnel by phone. Nice lake, need a base fishing license...called fam camp and got it by phone. Had our own fire pit (must have a top). $25.a night, some pull thrus, some back in. Picnic table and concrete patio. Paved.

Duane Peck
For Wright Patterson AFB FamCamp: The manager Vicky was a great help to us before we arrived as well as once we were here. The parking spots were all concrete with picnic table. No fire pits was a disappointment. Water pressure and electric was good with no problems noted. We were a Class C with 30 amp service and full service. Facilities were nice. It’s obvious they have put a lot of work into the place. There is a lake a few hundred feet from the campground for fishing. The Air Force Museum is something that should not be missed and it’s free. I would definitely stay here again.

Jeff Newell
For Wright Patterson AFB FamCamp: I retired from WPAFB as a DOD civilian. I was told by the famcamp and security forces that my wife has to come to pass & ID during business hour to get a pass to get on base. This makes the campground useless. We have been using military campgrounds for 6 yrs. For a one night stop that is not worth the time. Army, Navy, Marine and other Air Force bases only ask for my wife's drivers license.

For Wright Patterson AFB FamCamp: Very nice and clean campground. Sites are paved but patio a little small. Nice grassy areas between sites. Baths were nice and exceptionally clean. Had an awning issue and they loaned me a ladder from the camp office. Only grumble was not enough full hookup. Some others complained of low water pressure but we had more than enough.

GoIrish
For Wright Patterson AFB FamCamp: We stayed two nights. Most of the campsites were occupied but you could not tell. Everyone was very quiet and respectful. It was easy in and easy out of the camp. I am new to camping and forgot to check in, no problem with the managers. They were very nice and easy to get in touch with on the phone. We used our little boat at the lake and we were the only ones on the water. Loved the experience, a nice escape for a weekend.
