For Sauder Village Campground: Great campground on many levels. Has resort like amenities such as access to their lodge, pool and game room (which came in handy on one cold rainy evening). I wish you could fish the little pond they have but besides that very nice and safe. As someone mentioned your close (15-20 min) to 80/90 Turnpike. We stayed earlier in the year but they have a splashpad for the kids I assume when it’s nicer outside. We will definitely be back. Also their restaurant, the barn is absolutely amazing. Try everything from the amazing fried chicken to awesome apple butter and pies :) two thumbs up!
A couple footpaths for walking however the scenery is corn fields. This place is made to camp and enjoy family :)
We will be back for sure!

For Sauder Village Campground: Excellent facility with level gravel pads and nice thick lawns between sites. Stayed just one night, restaurant is closed on Monday but heard bakery is to die for. Trying that tomorrow on way out. A resort campground with many entertainment possibilities for kids. We stayed just one night in electric only pull through for $32. Making reservations and check in was easy with pleasant people. Highly recommend and would stay again.

For Sauder Village Campground: Excellent Facility! Lodge, restaurant, bakery and village on site. Pool in Lodge, playground at camping area with splash zone. Restrooms/bathhouse/laundry are clean. Lake, and lots of walking trails. We stayed at site 58 for 1 night. Back-in site with water and 50amp service. Site was gravel, level. Grass patio with thick grass. There was a fire ring that we did not use. Picnic table was sturdy. Tried to book a FHU site in August and sites were booked. Would definitely stay again. Restaurant was delicious, cherry and apple pies were too!

For Sauder Village Campground: Note: Check in at the lodge. Nicely maintained campground adjacent to historic Sauder Village and convenient to I 80. Roomy level, grassy and gravel sites with shade in most sites. You have the lodge amenities to enjoy as well as the small lake to fish in. In walking distance of bakery and restaurant. Very clean laundry room and bath house. Lots of families enjoying the campground. In a word: Peaceful.
