For Clute Park and Campground: Great place to stay near Watkins Glen State Park ( a must-do) if you want hook-ups. Well paved roads and gravel lots. Kinda tight spaces but okay. Well maintained. Minimal shade. Only 2 shower stalls for each men & women could be cleaned better and have no doors; only a curtain. Laundromat in town is convenient and very clean.

For Clute Park and Campground: We stayed 3 nights at this campground. Each day was very nice. We had a pull thru site which was very level. The site was a combination of stone and gravel. Hookups were in great shape. Many channels available on the CATV. We didn’t use the WiFi, however the ATT signal was super strong. The ladies in the office were amazing. They offered great suggestions for enjoying the area. One of them escorted us to our site to make sure everything was in order. There’s a Walmart Super Center just across the bridge. A very easy walk. It rained one night, then the next day there was a big storm that lasted several hours. When it was over, you couldn’t tell if it had rained, because the drainage was very good. Very few puddles. We walked to the downtown area to eat and shop. Maybe 20 minutes each way. This is a government owned campground, but they keep it VERY well kept. We will definitely stay here on our return trips to the Glen. We camped in a 24’ Class C. Everyone that worked there made sure the place was taken care of. The park across the street is a nice place to watch the sun setting across the lake.

For Clute Park and Campground: Traveling in a 37’ Class A towing. We stayed 2 nights during the weekend after Jul 4th. Post-Covid lockdown cabin fever meant a very crowded campground. Needed to make reservations for a site a month ahead and even then few sites were available for weekends. The campground is part of a county park located on the very end of Seneca Lake, but the campground itself is not waterside. Easy to access and good paved roads. Campground office at the entrance had friendly staff and brochures for local attractions like wineries and festivals.
I only have 3 stars because the sites, although level, are small and campers are close with not much space. Most campers this weekend had their tow vehicle, but visitors or friends vehicles as well so it made for a very crowded campground. Sites were gravel/grass mix, and when we arrived our site had several huge piles of dog poop. WiFi was good, satellite signal was excellent as there are very few trees. The park is located a mile outside of downtown Watkins Glen which has restaurants, shops, and attractions like boat trips out onto the lake. Walmart is very close, but you need to cross the canal to get there. Quiet campground after hours. Would stay again, but off season.

For Clute Park and Campground: Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to Walmart and downtown. Sites are to close together and seasonals did my respect the curfew during our stay. A lot of marina traffic on the main road.

For Clute Park and Campground: Nice RV park walking distance to downtown Watkins Glen and state park. Easy to walk or drive to visitor center and learn all you need to know during your stay. Sites are full hook up, gravel and grass, level; we stayed in pull through section. People in office were very cordial and helpful, more than any park we’ve stayed in. Recycling program. $60 per night. Four star due to price and gravel. We travel in a 38’ motorhome with towed.
