For Fish Creek Pond Adirondack Preserve: Had reservations for 4 nights. Left after the second night. The site have no privacy and if you are unable to bring your kayak with you they don’t have rentals available. Not much to
do if you don’t want to drive places. Had we known all this beforehand we would not have chosen to go there.

For Fish Creek Pond Adirondack Preserve: This is the most outstanding campground in the Adirondacks..! over 300 campsites, MOST are right ON the water.
My personal favorites are 139 - 159 because of their larger size and long distance views.
Wonderful place to bring your kids as they have outstanding FREE activities most days.
Then there is a long tradition every evening at dusk - The Fish Creek YOO HOO call and, Taps are played at 10 PM
If you have a boat, Kayak or canoe, bring it along as there are many miles of inter-connecting waterways.
Most folks WILL have cell phone service here too..!

For Fish Creek Pond Adirondack Preserve: Stopped in for a one night stay. The attendant said sites 160-200 were available. The sites were far too close together. Sites 200+ were not opened. I asked why and the attendant replied “their closedâ€. She was rude and abrasive. If they eliminated every other site this would be a nice campground. Greed ruined it.

For Fish Creek Pond Adirondack Preserve: Probably one of the best NY State campgrounds that I have stayed at. Just about all of the sites are on the water. You get a very Adirondack feel especially when the place is not filled (weekends). No hook ups - water was close to most sites - 3 bay dump station and a handy little General Store just outside of the property. If you get a chance stop here for a lakeside campfire and listen for the Loons.

For Fish Creek Pond Adirondack Preserve: Park is absolutely beautiful. Only complaint is the service. We called that morning to confirm the park was still open (October 13). Given restrictions on moving firewood, wouldn’t you think the staff would have mentioned that they’d run out of firewood A WEEK BEFORE!?! We weren’t the only ones caught out lots of angry campers wandering from site to site trying to find wood. How hard can it be? Shame because the park is magnificent.

For Fish Creek Pond Adirondack Preserve: Wonderful campground! Large with ample spaces - we stayed the last weekend they were open in October and the color was fabulous. Some spaces don't offer a lot of privacy but face the beautiful lakes and you feel more isolated! Many bathroom facilities located throughout the grounds - clean and well stocked. Showers were closed already for the season but seemed to be housed in a large central facility. Water was located every half dozen or sites or so - no electric, no concrete pad sites (which is what we like) but many sites are pretty level with room for big RVs. We would definitely stay again!
