For Battle Row Campground: Stayed here a week visiting Long Island. My 35' 30 amp RV fit nice on a decent level spot. I had my own fire pit . Every site has a Grill.
Nice place . There are a lot of trees, which I enjoy.
They do have tent camping in the back of the park.
Mostly Motorhomes and travel trailers.
Staff here is great. Very friendly and helpful. No sign of a drunk...
Clean showers and restrooms. New play area for children.
I met people from all over the world during my short stay. All very friendly RV'ers.

For Battle Row Campground: A no frills campground centrally located on Long Island. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. I have one tip if you are thinking of staying on these grounds. If you are facing the front door of the main administration building located near the entrance....look to the left. There is a lot/ campsite with an RV occupied by a man (unknown name). It is to my knowledge that this man has been staying/ living at this campsite for many years. During my stay I was located in the near vicinity to this man. Please be advised; he was heavily intoxicated, loud, and screaming obscenities throughout the night. Although the park grounds and staff were lovely/ charming this ruined our stay. If you stay at this park (which ultimately I enjoyed) stay away from the front entrance (left of the admin area). This unruly man will have a negative impact on your stay. Otherwise, the vast majority of the park is quiet and enjoyable.
