For Black Bear Campground: Very disappointed. Stayed here years ago with a big rig and it was quite nice Spacious grounds with upper level area for big rigs
However, now apparently there are new owners. The whole place is overgrown and you can’t see anything as you are driving up to the upper area. All the amenities are closed, no pool, pond, or any of the amenities from before. Even the office is closed nobody was around. RV Site was poor, and I had trouble with the electric service not being even. Worst part that it was way too expensive $100 for the night, which is completely ridiculous for a poor site and no amenities.

For Black Bear Campground: Everything closed laundry room restrooms ET see. But very pleasant stay. Area was kept clean and friendly staff, park is for sale, so watch out… we stayed in mid September.

For Black Bear Campground: We needed a place for a family function in the area so I thought we’d give it a try. $90 a night for a pull through, with a great view of the bath house 5 foot away. Everything on the property is closed. 40 a night would be fair. Stay anywhere but here!

For Black Bear Campground: Yes, it’s expensive, but you have to consider the cost of real estate in this area.
After a late (4:30 pm) change of plans we scurried to find a place for one night. Rita answered our call late in the day, and immediately filled my request for a full hookup, pull-through spot. Included cable, WiFi, etc.
A beautiful park in a great location. Super clean, paved roads, very level sites, and a great view of the sunset over the nearby mountains. Spacious sites.
Unfortunately, Covid mandates that some of the many amenities are closed, but we’ll definitely be back!

For Black Bear Campground: Friendly but stupid expensive. $68 for one night with no resort facilities available as it is March?
Might as well check into a motel.
Just left Myrtle Beach Resort -- $35 per night.

For Black Bear Campground: We stayed for one night (1-22-13). The showers and other buildings were closed, but we knew that would be the case. We scheduled by email and received a call within the day to confirm and pay.
We stayed during a subzero night and the camp ground's full hookups functioned great. The site was well maintained and Dave showed us to the site when we arrived.
I would have rated it between 3 and 4 stars if not for Dave. He was competent, friendly, and informative. Thanks Dave.
