Bill
For KOA Journey Ely: Nice campground. Convenient, near town and most site seeing locations. Fairly wide sites with many pull thoughs. We stayed four nights and the camp administrators where very friendly and helpful. The only problem, our Lab was attacked by a Pit Bull mix. Our dog was on leash and headed to the dog park area when a Pit Bull mix belonging to the next door neighbor got off leash and attacked. It took three large men to pull the Pit off our dog and she sustained a bite that went through one ear. Nye Country Sheriff's Department got involved. The other RVers were moved to a new site one the far side of the park. Not faulting the park personnel, it is the Pit Bull owner that was negligent.

For KOA Journey Ely: Clean, well maintained, friendly staff. Appeared to have a lot of permanent or semi permanent residents.

Polanna
For KOA Journey Ely: We stayed at this site for two nights to give us a chance to go to church on Sunday. Our over-the-air TV worked marginally until a large 5th wheel parked next to us and totally blocked TV access. Some sites have lawns and some have shade trees. Sites are large and easy to maneuver. We were in a conventional travel trailer.

Calgal
For KOA Journey Ely: This KOA was very clean and well-kept and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The tent area was large, shaded and very much separated from the RVs. I opted to stay in one of the cabins and loved it. It had AC, a fridge, a desk and a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. Plus a porch swing, a table, a grill, and a nice sink area. The restrooms and showers were very nice as well. Really enjoyed my stay here.

Majestic Molly
For KOA Journey Ely: Large KOA with friendly staff and clean bathrooms. The cable tv was out while we were there but the town was working on it. The camp store also rents DVD's. The wifi is password restricted and requires a separate password for each device. The outside row seemed to be all seasonals and the office contained mail boxes for them.
