For Lake Mead RV Village - Lake Mead National Rec Area: We started full timing in October, so it's been 2 months on the road. So far, this is my favorite campground. It's really quiet here, and reasonable driving distance to Henderson and downtown Las Vegas. The view is gorgeous. The park is relatively big, but has a small feel. The lake view sites are slightly bigger than the pull through a, but we didn't feel it was that big of a difference. The price is awesome for what you get here. Our site had a large cement pad surrounded by gravel, a fire ring, a picnic table, and a tree. Felt really spacious. There were plenty of spots to walk your dog and let them potty. They don't accept mail here, which is annoying. But there are other options for that. We will definitely be back.

For Lake Mead RV Village - Lake Mead National Rec Area: This is or 3rd time here. With the extra dollars for the Lakeview site. Those sites are much larger. Very quiet each time we've been here. Great running/bike trail right at entrance. Minutes from the Hoover Dam and not far from the Vegas Strip.

For Lake Mead RV Village - Lake Mead National Rec Area: Have them my credit card number last night and someone used it today, 9/25/15 to spend $411 at Walmart.com today, don't give them your credit card number.

For Lake Mead RV Village - Lake Mead National Rec Area: Not a bad place for what it is. Took a spot with a water view, couldn't believe it is over $50 a night, complete rip off. Even the Web site states it's $45 a night.
