For Boulder Beach Campground - Lake Mead National Rec Area: With National Park Pass, our stay at pull-thru site 147 was the best primitive RV site thus far. Just $10/day with plenty of tree canopies to shaded our site, the warm wind becomes cool wind through our trailer in an instant. No shower, but toilet and sink are clean, and they were just short walking distance away. Water spigots were scatter throughout the campground within easy stroll distance. Exiting boulder campground to Lakeshore road is less than 2min away. Not every sites here have good shade, just our site was one of the best in Boulder Beach Campground. No direct access to the beach, but with 4wheel drive vehicle, we parked right on Lake Mead shoreline and and spend hours playing with water there.

For Boulder Beach Campground - Lake Mead National Rec Area: The proximity to Hoover Dam, the great trails, the beach, the smooth bike riding area were all surpassed by the amazing view of a huge clear blue lake surrounded by colorful mountains. And we had a firepit. A flowering tree beside our trailer attracted hummingbirds and we enjoyed seeing many other "new to us" birds.

For Boulder Beach Campground - Lake Mead National Rec Area: The rocks along the road and at the sites are very hard to maneuver around to get into the sites. Saw one man hit a rock and damage the front corner of the rv.

For Boulder Beach Campground - Lake Mead National Rec Area: Old campground far from lake. About 1/3 has been updated. Busy with N Vegas city people on weekends. Small sites close together. Convenient to area and trails.
