For Canyon Trail RV Park: So a bit of a fiasco with Good Sam. When I made the reservation they couldn’t find my membership – even though I was holding the card in my hand. The young lady said to bring the card with me when I checked in. Noted on the confirmation email that it was contact less check-in. When we were close, I called to get the GS discount. The woman who answered said sorry once we charge your card we can’t change it. It’s not fair to give the discount if you bought GS after making the reservation (which I didn’t). We can’t do that for everyone or we wouldn’t make any money. Um, what? If you are offended by GS, then stop honoring it. Anyway, moving along. Interior roads are paved with pea size gravel in the sites. The sites are pretty close and even closer on the perimeter where they have shared utilities. Our site was a mostly level pull thru that just fit the motorhome. We parked the toad in a small space between us and the next RV. We assumed this was ok as there were no instructions given. There are no picnic tables and no fire pits. There are many long term, and the sites are fairly neat. The WII FI worked ok. Verizon was 4g 4 bars. Satellite would not be a problem, and they have cable but we didn’t try it. There is a small pool near the office. It is very, very windy! It is an easy 8 mile drive to Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. Boulder City has a cute historic downtown – a little green oasis amidst all the brown. There are lots of Mediterranean style homes with sweeping views of Lake Mead. Due to the inadequate customer service and overpriced nightly fees, we would not stay here again.

For Canyon Trail RV Park: May 2021- Great location for visiting Vegas and Hoover Dam. Less than 30 minutes from each. Spacious sites, good WiFi & Cable TV. Clean bathrooms and laundry. The highlight was the pool and hot tub. Felt great during the 100+ heat. A definite 5 star.

Brian

For Canyon Trail RV Park: Large sites, some of the best cable TV access I’ve seen at a park. My site had dual angle sewer connections (one 90 degrees, the other 45 degrees.) I got chased down by an employee in her golf cart and reminded the speed limit was 5mph, when I was maybe doing 7-10mph. I saw her when I was packing up to leave and she slowed to give me the stink eye. This was irritating, but nothing to not book this place over. My purpose for staying at the park wasn’t to vacation, but to have a home base because I had work in the area.

For Canyon Trail RV Park: Excellent park, obviously well managed, nice clean restrooms. Some sites have good views. A good choice of you want to visit Vegas or the dam. Quiet. A little expensive but we’ve paid a lot more. We’ll definitely stay here again when passing this way.

Melody

For Canyon Trail RV Park: This is a very pleasant resort. The FHUs worked fine and our site was wide enough for us and our tow vehicle. There are two dog areas, a pool and a hot tub. An area is set aside for shuffleboard and horse shoes. The staff was super friendly and there were many machines in the laundry (although several were out of order). The cable TV channels were plentiful, cell phone service was good and Wifi was excellent. The campground is close to Hoover Dam and area attractions. I can't think of one criticism for this RV Resort.

Art

For Canyon Trail RV Park: Stayed here for 3 days in our motorhome, March, 2018.
Pricey, even with Good Sam discount but a clean well-kept park. Sites fit a large rig, but have little extra space.
Internet is advertised as available and offers multiple devices with streaming. This was important to us and I was assured it was excellent when I made the reservation. In fact, during our stay we had no usable internet. Brought it to their attention several times and their maintenance guy agreed their was a problem but they did nothing to resolve the issue. Very disappointing.
