Big Red
For KOA North Sydney Cabot Trail: Great location for day trips. No issues with bridge noise compared to other campgrounds and railroads. The view offset any noise issues. Owners awesome, pull thru spaces large and grassy. Stayed almost two weeks, could stay the summer. only drawback was 30 minutes to decent grocery, services and not a lot of restaurants in the area. Pack it in. Make sure you go to Louis burg fort, highlands village and bell museum. All top notch. Cape Breton drive meh compared to other North American drives although cheticamp and meat cove ( dirt road) worth the trip. Go clockwise. Great golfing in area.

Dave
For KOA North Sydney Cabot Trail: Nice place to stay. Sites are well spaced overlooking the water and the bridge. The back in sites are a little lower on the hill from the pull through a but are just as nice. As mentioned there is noise from the highway, likely amplified by the water. However during sleeping hours there is minimal traffic so it didn’t bother us at all. The showers are clean and nice, the Wi-Fi is fantastic. We did not use the laundry but looks clean as well. There is a miniature golf course onsite and a play area for kids. Water, sewer and power all worked well. 3 bar cell signal. We would stay again.

For KOA North Sydney Cabot Trail: If you like unicorns and double rainbows, you'll love this KOA. It actually has WI-FI that works reliably and fast.
Compare that to 98% of all other campsites in the world, and you've indeed found something rare indeed.
The view from our trailer was sublime; a bridge over the sparkling water. The view comes with a liability though...jake braking semi-trucks. It's kind of loud here every once in awhile.

Happy camper
For KOA North Sydney Cabot Trail: Usual excellent fare for KOA. Access to facilities a little difficult due to the hills. Wonderful view.
