For Lunenburg Board Of Trade Campground: Prior negative comments are well deserved and actually too kind. Layout is terrible. We arrived just after 5 PM and good luck trying to figure out the number on the sites which are so poorly signed with a little stick and tiny digits. No one at the office to help. RVs very cramped together with no space or privacy. Poorly maintained with faucet at our site dripping and cold not be turned off. After over eight weeks on the road, including across Ontario, through New England and New Brunswick, this is the worst campground we have been in and ———by far ———the most expensive!! I am really stretching it to give them one star and even for half the price, would not get a two star rating. The place is a rip off. You will probably be sorry if they take your $60 plus tax=$69.

For Lunenburg Board Of Trade Campground: Small sites but walking distance to town. Yes, there are hills but if you are in decent shape, they are no problem. Two showers in rest rooms. Larger rigs are in upper lot. We stayed in the lower lot in our campervan with electric and water. Very convenient and very nice and helpful staff.

For Lunenburg Board Of Trade Campground: I am really struggling to give this park a 3 star... the Upper section has had the services laid out by a person who has NEVER Rv'd before. The electric is on one side, the water and mostly the sewer on the other, and not on the side your services NEED to be. The grass has not been cut this year, dandelions are beyond full bloom and gone to seed. The sites are FAR from anywhere near level. The wifi works pretty good, but then again all of OLD downtown has free wifi so no big deal. We paid the extra $1.00 to upgrade the Wifi, took three hours to send ten email. Not sure that was $$ well spent. The downtown, although close is all HILLS. You have to be in very very good shape to get there and back. Once downtown you are treated to,lovely restaurants, limited shops, and ZERO for those who might want to take home fresh seafood.... We ended up driving the 18km to Bridgeport and getting seafood to cook from the Sobey's. I am not sure who is giving the campground a 4 star, the lower section is nicer, but most RV units will not get into the sites. Thou the town has some charm, and this is really the only close to decent place to stay, I would not spend more then a day here. Or use it to go site seeing to Mahone Bay, much prettier village or Rockport.. But the roads to and from are VERY narrow... Do Not take an RV on exit 10 thru Mahone Bay, recommend entering Lunenburg from Ext 11! We are here in May when everything in the Atlantic area is just now opening for the season, cannot imagine driving Hwy 3 in the summer!
