For Cheticamp Campground - Cape Breton Highlands National Park: I agree with other reviewers who mentioned that the sites are very close together, and many are quite short.. Some are shaded and somewhere out in the middle of a field. There are ample, clean, bathrooms with hot water. Location seems to be the primary benefit of this campground as there is no view, many campsites don’t allow campfires, and you are super close with your neighbor. I have two bars of LTE service on my T-Mobile phone and that’s using a signal booster. It’s not a bad place to stop, but it isn’t what I’d consider a destination.

For Cheticamp Campground - Cape Breton Highlands National Park: Busy campground. Sites pretty close together. Lots of wash houses that are nice and clean, and include free hot showers. Also quite a few outdoor dishwashing stations with hot water, and cooking shelters. Very poor cell service and WiFi didn’t work. We found out that half the campground was flooded in a flash flood 3-4 years ago, and they do not intend to reopen that part. So you drive through what seems like empty wasted space where the old campground used to be. They are trying to add some new sites in the newer section but that does make it crowded. Some of the sites seemed to be in what used to be a day use area just off the visitor center parking lot.

For Cheticamp Campground - Cape Breton Highlands National Park: Very busy campground probably because of the location. Clean restroom and shower. Sites were close together. Hot water for dish washing was a nice touch. Cheticamp is a nice little town to visit. A coin bakery is a must visit. I would stay there again.

For Cheticamp Campground - Cape Breton Highlands National Park: Junky campground! Unfinished construction projects, lots of buildings to look at! Cheek to Joel with no privacy. No views. Only good thing about it is that it’s close to Cheticamp, and some hiking trails. The overflow, is right on the water, so you’re better off to go late and without a reservation!

For Cheticamp Campground - Cape Breton Highlands National Park: Nice National park with full hook ups... location cant be beat... amazing views along coast. Campground is in a slightly wooded area above coast. Wifi poor. Cell service as well is poor. Level and safe.
Campground had sewer problems when we were there so no sewer hookup could be used as well as bathhouse bear us.
