For Blomidon Provincial Park: Spent our first weekend here in this very scenic campground. The road in is rural with the last mile steep and curvy. We stayed on site #61- no hookups. The are lots of water taps throughout the park so accessing water was not an issue. The site is in an open, sloping field with large grassy sites. Other parts of the campground are wooded and with hookups. The views are beautiful of the Bay of Fundy. Lots of space to walk and hike. So quiet and dark at night. We stopped at several farm stands along the way. Kentville and Wolfville are about twenty minutes away with all amenities including farmers markets and wineries. No wifi and limited internet. A lovely place to wind down.

For Blomidon Provincial Park: Nice park with both wooded and open sites. We preferred the open sites and views. We stayed in both 74 (great view, a little tricky to level) and 1 (biggest site ever, seriously ). Close to the Cape Split trail and up the hill from wine tasting. Decent dump station, did not use the facilities. Also, cheap ice and wood.

For Blomidon Provincial Park: I would recommend the wooded sites as the open sites can be windy at night, which plays havoc with your campfire. There is a section which would give you views of the Minas basin, which is nice. Good hiking trails, close to Canning and Two Planks and a Passion outdoor theatre. 20 minutes away is the Wolfville area which has many wineries, craft breweries and farmer stands. A great area to explore

For Blomidon Provincial Park: Great provincial park located atop a 700 foot cliff, views of 5 counties around the bay. Just over half the sites in the woods, the remainder in a rolling field with a few scattered pines. Water readily available throughout the park, several great hilly wooded hiking trails.
