For The Plantation Campground: We just spent the weekend in this lovely country campground surrounded by farmland near Berwick, NS. This large campground has several hundred seasonal campers and a handful of three-way pull-through and two way sites. The large swimming pool was chilly and we had to sign up for a swimming time. We had 30 amp service and there was no issue with the power. There is wifi however we were not able to connect to it. Although most of the seasonal sites are in treed areas, the pull through sites are in the open. This is clearly a family place as there were a lot of kids and dogs. We noticed a nice playground area but we didn’t use it. The on site store was not well equipped but all amenities are just a short ten minute drive into Berwick. Entry to the campground is gated and you have to leave a $20 deposit for the key card. If you don’t have the key card you can’t get through the gate at night or when the on site store is closed. We did enjoy our weekend but we feel that they cater more to the seasonal camper than the transient camper.
