For Volunteer Park Travel Camp: Great small RV park. Only 8 spots but all full hookups 30/50 amp. Gravel pull thru with covered patios and grills. Staff very helpful and friendly. Reasonably priced. White Sands Missile Range New Mexico. Lots of things to see and do. Definitely stay here again.

For Volunteer Park Travel Camp: Beautiful base. 8 full hook ups, 4-electric only overflow sites. Paved & even for over flow (basically you’re parked on the street). Gravel for full hook ups. When I was there in 11/23 there was no restrooms/laundry. They did have Porta potties but I think that was for the construction crew working on a building. I did not see a dump station. Staff was nice especially Cory. My electric overflow box wasn’t working and he switched me to a full hook up. Internet worked fine. Each full hook up comes with a grill and covered cement picnic table. Only $10 a day!
The base have a very nice commissary. There’s a small BX, shoppette & “food court” next to the commissary all in the same building. Subway, pizza & snack station.
Only 1/2 hour from white sands. This is a must see! Base is clean and quiet. We have a camper van so we took our shower at the gym and the locker room is immaculate. As we travel I really get an appreciation about how nice our bases are and how lucky I as a retiree can use them.

For Volunteer Park Travel Camp: 8 gravel sites with full hookups ($15 a night) and 4 overflow sites on pavement with electric and nearby water faucets ($10 a night). We spent a night in overflow and loved it. The restrooms and laundry were under renovation and not available for use. Located beside a grassy shaded park area (dog was happy). We’ll be back again!

For Volunteer Park Travel Camp: Awesome secure camp site. The base provides all the amenities; library, ACS, fuel, quick shop, move theater, commissary and a missile museum. Could not find a propane exchange. We were there during a windstorm with winds as high as 71mph. We would camp there again.
Can not beat the price ($15 FHU). Overflow camping with electricity only ($5). Need to call ahead to reserve site.

For Volunteer Park Travel Camp: Quiet and windy, but it is high desert so wind is expected . Had a storm come through while we were there. Great walking track right in front of Rv sites. BX, Commissary are well stocked and clean. As to curbs, stay close to drivers side and step has no issues. Will stop here again!!

For Volunteer Park Travel Camp: Nice and quiet and secure. Halfway between White Sands Monument and Las Cruces. Unlevel sites with curbs for some reason. Needed 8 Lego’s on one side and 5 on back and still not level. FHU only $15. Must call to reserve. Overflow has electric. Beware water hookup sticks up 4 ft or more and might hit slide. Nice patio with tack room. Base has Exchange, Commissary and s gas station . Beautiful view of mountains sins base is right at the foot of them.
