For Agua Piedra Campground: Was in site 25 and the horse flies were horrible. Left early, beautiful area but stinging horse flies make being outside impossible.

For Agua Piedra Campground: Great scenery. Uneven pads. If arriving late, pick a spot that is labeled open then settle up with host the next day or wait for them to come to you.

For Agua Piedra Campground: Nice place! We were in site 15 at the top loop and it was lovely. Right above the bathrooms/water pump with no visible neighbors. Super nice hike through the peaceful woods and a short drive East to a fantastic swimming hole with rapids. Hosts we’re nice and stayed out of your business. For $24, worth it.

Amy

For Agua Piedra Campground: This campground falls in the "just okay" category. The roads are atrocious throughout the campground. The host was almost non-existent...good for those who don't like to be held to any rules or be considerate of others, not so great for those who appreciate a campground where generators and loud music ruin the solace you seek in nature. The camp sites are quite close together, so there is almost no privacy at all (the neighbors'conversations and whiney, screaming, annoying children are right in your space). The lights in the toilets don't work, so be sure to bring a flashlight. The area is beautiful and has plenty of trails and some fishing. There is a small store and cafe a short drive away. There was a very sweet dog running loose on the grounds that someone had apparently dumped (there is a special place in h3ll for anyone who mistreats an innocent like this poor boy) who protected his campground when something came poking around in the middle of the night. Ultimately, for us, it was not worth the money and we ended up leaving earlier than we normally would have.
