For Scorpion Campground: We had a great time here. If you hike the campground trail (very short) it'll take you to actual cliff dwellings you can go inside on your own. Close to National Monument and not far from the other camp ground that has a great river to play in. Clean water available at the ranger station outside (we bathed there :)). Only one store we could find up the mountain...Docs and it takes around 2 hours up and down the mountain.
Campsites are small but overall good place.

For Scorpion Campground: There are two sections: Upper Scorpion and Lower Scorpion. Both are tent only and are located adjacent to the road, very close to Gila Cliff Dwellings NP. Amenities include pit toilets, paved parking lot and picnic tables. There is no water and you are very far from any town, so bring it with you!
While the campgrounds are small (maybe 6 sites each?) and unremarkable, the payoff is easy access to the park attractions. No RV sites, but I saw a couple park their sleeper van in the parking lot and stay overnight.
