For Water Canyon Campground: 4.5 miles up paved Water Canyon Rd, then changes to graded dirt/gravel. At this change, you see a “Not Recommended for Trailers†sign. Road has deteriorated a bit for about 25 yds, but then is just fine. We walked the road up to the campground and determined it was doable with our 22 ft trailer towed by a Toyota Highlander in lower gear. We just took it slow and had no problems. Lovely small campground with good parking, picnic tables, fire pits, drop toilets, no water. Views of surrounding red rock cliffs are fantastic.

For Water Canyon Campground: Great place but I think we camped in a picnic spot or there was only one camp site. Signage a little confusing. They may need to repair the road to the real camp sites, my wife would not let me drive up there so we camped on the right past the picnic area. Nice walking

For Water Canyon Campground: Beautiful scenery, remote, facilities on site but no running water. You've never seen stars like this before! 1/2 hour east of the Very Large Satellite Array (complete radio blackout area) which is also worth checking out imo
