For Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort: Not perfect park but mostly deserving of Resort in park name. All roads concrete. Upper loop main road extra wide. Some roads in lower loop narrow w/tight turns requiring indirect route to sites for larger rigs. Most sites large enough for RV, tow/towed vehicle & walking around in site. But shrubs/trees between some narrower sites should be removed. All sites gravel, appear level & utilities positioned well w/concrete basin around 3" sewer drain. Water pressure good but flow slightly weak. Some noticeable town noise due to adjacent city facilities, surrounding roads, clanging flagpoles, occasional activity at park Event Center, etc. Good laundry, shower/bathroom facilities. PT sites near office very convenient for overnight. Pickleball court too small & its perimeter fence too short. Park is somewhat boaters/fishermen camp with boats/RVs being stored in sites infrequently occupied due to lake proximity & very reasonable longer term rates. Several, but not too many, residents/seasonal campers in addition to staff campers. Nice paved walking/biking path across street leading to other end of town. Good wi-fi. Staff OK but not overly accommodating. Usual nearby amenities, medical care, etc.

For Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort: Love this campground! Very well maintained, beautiful grounds, sites are level and clean, utilities are in excellent condition. We enjoyed using the pool, a great place to hang out when the weather isn’t cooperating. Laundry and restrooms are immaculate. Pride in ownership is evident in every aspect of this campground, we will definitely be staying here again.

For Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort: Awesome RV resort. Stayed 5 nights. Would consider a 2-3 month stay. All the facilities are well maintained and heated. Camp sites are level.

For Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort: Great place! Very clean restrooms/showers. Site have more than enough room. Quiet when we were here. Highly recommend

For Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort: Has everything we hoped for. Because of covid precautions many on the indoor amenities we closed. We have a 21’ rv so public space to hang out is important, and they have it. But perfectly maintained, gorgeous landscaping, we even saw a desert tortoise! 1/2 mile walk to state park entrance. Even though the website says no contact check in, they said they wanted us to come into the office so that was confusing. Will consider this as a future snowbird destination. The priciest place we’ve ever stayed but worth it to us. Great WiFi when we were there. Very level, super easy hookups.

For Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort: Wonderful park. All the amenities you could want or need.The staff was very friendly and thorough. Great bathrooms and showers and laundry facilities. Pickle ball, indoor pool, outdoor pool, barbecue area.

For Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort: If you are looking for a great friendly place to stop with many amenities, this is IT!! We stopped with the intention of staying 2 nights. Ended up with 3! While the price is higher than many locations, (we usually stay in State Parks.) The offerings were many. Very Clean RV Park, extremely well manicured. We did our laundry, (played provided corn hole game while doing laundry) used one of their community grills as we were having trouble with ours. Enjoyed a 10 piece Bluegrass band on Wednesday night. They were awesome. Drove to T Or C each night to enjoy mineral hot springs. Amazing. Nice dog run area. Did not take advantage of the pool. Great stay!
