For Isleta Lakes and RV Park: I had a gravel site. Level, firmly packed. Man made lake on grounds provides a nice walk. No trees near sites - open field. Bonus is a rail station an easy walk from sites. Runs into albuquerque and on to santa fe - great option. Although this is associated with a tribal casino, it is half a mile from the casino on the other side of the highway (a good thing). There is a shuttle bus to the casino. Rest rooms are a bit of a walk from sites.

For Isleta Lakes and RV Park: This is defiantly a five star RV park. We opted to stay on a site with a cement pad. It was well worth it. We spend most of our time in the backcountry or at Forest Service campgrounds because the spaces are much larger than in RV parks. The spaces here at Isleta are large and the cement pad doubled our living space. I love the flexibility of first come and no reservations. We took advantage of their buy two nights and get one free, but liked it so much we stayed two more days. Everyone on the staff were wonderful, kind helpful people. Reviews mention the train. Who goes RVing without earplugs. Never heard the train at night and actually for six dollars took it to SantaFe for a day. An added bonus is the casino and a great steakhouse restaurant. We have found a new home base in Albuquerque and are very happy campers.

For Isleta Lakes and RV Park: Pulled in this afternoon, planning on spending a few days exploring. The WiFi is fast and included. 85 channels on the TV included in space rent. I have a Good Sam discount which left me at $38 and change per night. The park has many open spaces, you have a choice of gravel or concrete, the concrete being $10.00 more. Be forewarned, there are no reservations, first come first served.
I gave it four stars because the “gravel sites have no “gravel,†just powdery dust.

For Isleta Lakes and RV Park: Ignore all of the negative reviews! We are here now and have been here for two weeks. The internet works so much better than any place we have ever stayed and the park is spotless! Every single person we have met (from check in to security) have been warm and professional. The ponds across from the rv sites are beautiful and full of Canadian geese. Yes you can hear the train it we actually enjoy hearing it. We even took it to Santa Fe for the day and had a wonderful time! Some people are happiest complaining. This is an RV park that has security, is clean, had friendly staff, is pretty to walk around and offers a happy experience

For Isleta Lakes and RV Park: This park looks nice at first but the employees are rude, they don't pick up the trash, wifi doesn't work, cable doesn't work, gym always locked, store is locked 30-45 min before posted time. It's dusty.
The train WILL wake you up!!! (unless you can sleep through a 7.0+ Magnitude earthquake). First night we woke up from the trains horn. Second night we put ear plugs in. We woke up from the vibration! The train passes very close and you are on gravel so it shakes you up just like a 7.5 mag earthquake!
You want more? ... let's see, the lakes look good right? Well, they do, from a distance! Try to go for a little walk... we counted 15 dead fish in the water and 9 heads of fish out of the water.

For Isleta Lakes and RV Park: Nice little park with a nice little lake but the train is VERY LAUD. We woke up at 1 am, 4 am and 5 am. The train tracks are literally 100 feet away from park! If you don't mind waking up, it's a nice little place for a couple of nights.

For Isleta Lakes and RV Park: Lovely campground. Most commercial campgrounds are nothing but parking lots here in ABQ. This one has a lovely lake and a golf course nearby. Ditto about the light rail to Santa Fe and ABQ. Very clean.Shuttle to casino, very convenient when you don' t want to contend with parking. We attended a concert. They draw some great acts! Staff was helpful and pleasant.
