For The Waters Edge RV Park: We were so happy to find this place!! This Campground is the hidden gem of Gros Morne National Park. The sites are right on the Bonne Bay Fjord and we saw whales right in front of our camper both night we were there!! The new owners are a super sweet young family and have done major renovations, with many more planned they said. They have new bathrooms that are better than my own at home, and a huge sitting area right on the dock. This place is right on the main road going through but its very quiet as the area is very remote and we didn't need to go on any rough gravel roads, but it's close to the restaurants and hiking trails. We loved this place so much we went out of the way to stay here again on our way back out leaving the island. We didn't see any whales on our way out but there was a super curious seal who was hanging around in front of the trailer that our kids loved. 10 out of 10 would stay here again. Insider tip - a local tour company operates kayak rentals and boat tours right from the campground so you can walk from your camper and do a boat tour of the fjord or kayak tour in like 5 minutes. We booked a private fishing charter and caught 2 codfish which we had for dinner that night.
