For Round Valley State Rec Area: I love this lake. This is my go to kayak location. Rvs can park at the Walmart exit 15 and drive to lake exit 20 west on hwy 78, look for round valley signs going east maybe exit 18. All boating, fishing and kayaking is done from boat dock at the first turn off. One busy restroom here. No Rvs can fit in parking lot there. There is a docking pass needed for the summer. 15$ online. The second entrance further up the road is the main park entrance. Call for park rules. There are showers and restrooms. There is a small snack bar in the summer. All restrooms are open only summer time. Swimming is a waste of time, they rope off a tiny area. Mostly for kids. Camping is an adventure! Four mile walk with ALL your stuff to the campground. We kayak or boat in. Tried to hoof it once. Never again. You can pay one of the fisherman to take you as it’s across the lake. This is the cleanest and clearest lake I have ever been to and well worth a visit. FYI, you can only see the full lake from the boater’s side.
