For Greenfield State Park Campground: We started the trip excited to go, entered greenfield State park in maps on our iPhone , drove 1.5 hours to arrive at a park in Enfield NH. We called the state park to get the correct address then drove another 1.25 hours to the campground making it there around 8:30 pm. The park was closed but they told us to go straight to the site and check-in at 8am when they open. Please pay attention to the address! The park ranger told us we were not the first ones to make the mistake.
The park is large, sites well spaced apart, great biking and hiking trails, very friendly staff, we have an 22ft RV and the sites are pretty level. We started at site 217 which is dirt then moved halfway through the week to site 35 which had a view of the pond and we could hear frogs all night. Lol. Also has a lot of fireflies . We really like the privacy of the sites, how quiet it is, the lake is great to swim in. Plus we saw a bear! There is a dumping station which we used halfway through the week. There are no hookups but we brought our predator inverter and hooked up to that. Will definitely come again. One down side, if you have some grass at your site, it’s not mowed and there are ticks. Site 35 has them. 4 stars just because the grass wasn’t cut and ticks were abundant.
