Cherry Garcia
For Campton Campground: Simple federal forest campground in the White Mountains. Large RVs and trailers might have problem getting into some sites but there were several large enough. I was in Class B van on site 47. Level site with forest path to bathrooms with flush toilets. Showers were short walk to the other section. Facilities were clean and despite being close to major highway, there was little road notice but you may want to make sure you get a site in back of campground. Perfect location to most of the White Mountain attractions and fishing and hiking.
Mid August and quiet with lots of sites open. Well worth the $13.50 paid with my national parks senior pass.

For Campton Campground: Nice no frills campground. It is right next to a somewhat busy road so there is some road noise. They have about 30 first come first served site which was great going into a holiday weekend. I don’t know if I would bring a large rig in here as the roads are narrow and lots of trees close to the edge. We came in with a 26’ trailer and did nothing have a problem.

Just a camper
For Campton Campground: Nice National forest campground. $25 for a large level site, no hookups. Showers $2.50, quiet.
Two bars LTE (T-Mobile). Lots of bugs though, so we sat inside our class b van.
Good for one or two nights, close to all the attractions in the white mountains.
