For Scenic Park City: Paid staff seem earnest about providing a good stay, however…the camp host (not sure, but they mow the park and have a vast proliferation of lights and other “decorations” ) at the north end by the YMCA has two small dogs that bark incessantly. They bark whenever you go outside. They bark at other dogs. They bark at people. They bark for no reason. As a result I was unable to enjoy my time outside my RV. Although the individual was clearly inside watching TV because I heard them tell her dogs to start barking, they refused to answer my polite knock on their door. Aside from calling the police I have no options after hours. There are many long term tenants. Police were next to and in the park three times today, searching and arresting people. I would not stay here unless I had no alternative.

For Scenic Park City: Easy access from the interstate, yet noise from the Highway not bothersome. Occasional train whistle, which we found delightful. Very pretty view of the river from some sites. Front desk staff pleasant. They do not give discounts of any kind. Sites are level; ours was gravel. Would definitely stay here again.

For Scenic Park City: This park is conveniently located if you're traveling on I-29, and the reviews were good so we gave it a try. We're sorry we did. Trains blew their horns all night long, and traffic was loud from the highway just across the river. A pile driver at the interstate construction site was incessant. And while the campsites were okay, we found them anything but scenic. We will not stay here again.

For Scenic Park City: There are a number of full time residents. Our site was semi level, FHU 50 amp. Nice view of river and Sioux City, Iowa. However, the neighborhood surrounding the park is shady in appearance. Felt uncomfortable at times. Stayed only two nights in our 40’ and most likely not stay there again.

For Scenic Park City: We were searching for place to pull in on July 5th so called Scenic Park but had to leave message. Yes they called back and we reserved a spot. We were on the river side with a wonderful breeze. Level, clean and great dog walking area. One of the cleanest parks in or 11years of camping

For Scenic Park City: Camped on a Tuesday night, pulled in to a great riverside site. Office staff very helpful. Coded entry bathrooms, clean. Some permanent residents, lots of families camping. Would stay here again. There is some road noise (I29) from across the river but the view was hard to beat. $23 for water and electric

For Scenic Park City: We have stayed at Senic for 10 years it was good before the 2011 flood but after it was exceptional! New power, water and sewer on most sites large roomy sites and great access to Sioux City South Sioux City and Sioux Falls. Stayed twice this year once on our way to Minnesota and again going south to Nebraska. Excellent staff reasonable rates and the Y is right next door!
