Jeff

For Pioneer Village Motel and Campground: Don’t pay attention to the older reviews. Yes the campground is older, but it is a perfectly fine campground. There are about 10 pull-through full hookup sites in the front, about a dozen 30 amp W/E (30 amp) along the side, and about 30 30 amp W/E back-in sites mostly shaded elsewhere. There is a dump station on site as well. The campground is co-located with the museum so an easy walk. The museum is also Harvest Host. There are showers and restrooms at the campground.

For Pioneer Village Motel and Campground: Motel closed down. Campground shaded some full hook ups all have elec/water level gravel and grass sites, restroom and showers old but clean, museum next door fantastic.

For Pioneer Village Motel and Campground: This place has seen better days. The museum is cool but run down. Camp ground good for only an overnight stay.

For Pioneer Village Motel and Campground: Not a great site to stay but we were in need of a place to stay. Do not use the water. It was the colour of pee and did not smell very good either. Sewer dumps were old cast iron 45 degree fittings. Every site I visited had remnants of TP over the ground. No one appears to care about the cleanliness of the place. Showers were disgusting. Lots of grain dust in the air and noise from processing plants nearby. Trains rolled thru town at about 60mph blaring their horn which was interesting. The young man that checked us in was very helpful and trying to make a go of it. Best of luck to him. Wifi good and we had electricity. People in town were very friendly. Wish we had some time to visit the museum.

For Pioneer Village Motel and Campground: Has really seen it’s better day, but everything worked. WiFi ok, spots are wide and pull through. Mostly over grown and run down! Didn’t use shower house. Did see the attached museum and it was most interesting! Like so many towns that are no longer a main route. Fading away!

Christmas

For Pioneer Village Motel and Campground: Park does have trees but the motel that it is attached to has seen some better days. The cost of the Rv park does give you one free pass at Pioneer Village. RV wifi signal was strong, but actual internet speed was pretty non existing. They provided water and electric and shower and rest rooms were closed when we were there. My sister did enjoy the Pioneer Village. I hope I do.

Mike

For Pioneer Village Motel and Campground: The best part of this campground is the Pioneer Village museum. Quite rundown. Terrible wifi. Bathrooms are two former motel rooms with rotten caulking and dirty facilities. No cable thank goodness for satellite.
