For KOA Journey Grand Island: We have been on an extended trip out west and have stayed at many campgrounds. This campground rates towards the top for an overnight stay. The sites are gravel but there are nice shade trees and the grass is well manicured. The restrooms are slightly dated but very clean.

For KOA Journey Grand Island: Well kept grounds with level gravel sites. Could use a little more space between sites. Staff was friendly and efficient. Convenient to I 80. We didn’t notice road noise. Pizza delivered to campsite.

For KOA Journey Grand Island: You always know what you're going to get with a national franchise and this KOA is no different. At check-in I explained that I didn't have my Good Sam card with me on the trip but that I was a long-time member. The woman refused to give us the discount. If I were going to defraud someone, it wouldn't have been to save 5 bucks. She was a bit rude and abrupt. The park was fine.

For KOA Journey Grand Island: What a beautiful and well kept campground! The staff is very attentive and friendly. Office and camp store are organized and well stocked. Provided an escort to our site. Our site was a drive through, on gravel and roomy
Sites are organized by RV size. Fire pits at each site. The bathrooms are clean and private individual showers are wonderful. The playground, sand volleyball court and pool are well kept and attended to. Because of the amenities, this campground would be great for a family get together or reunion. We would give this KOA a 6 stsr rating. Look forward to returning in the future as we pass through NB. Thsnk you to Wayne and Susan for a fabulous stay.

For KOA Journey Grand Island: Good stopping spot for a night but like many KOA's very tight lot spacing. We have a 38' 5th Wheel with 3 large slides and there was very little space between rigs. If we have a choice we avoid KOA for that reason. But this one is right where we needed to stop. For one night it was fine

For KOA Journey Grand Island: August 5 we stayed at this park, we are very happy with KOA's normally, but I'll stay here was less than we expected. We have an outside kitchen on the side where our doors are like a lot of other RVs.We are in spot 67 and our neighbors sewer hook up is in my kitchen 1 foot from under one of my slides. Luckily my current neighbor is only staying one night like we are in did not decide to hook up his sewer lines. I have a feeling that if you were in spot 61 through 71 you would have the same problem. I'm not going to take the time to walk around the park and find which other sites or so close together. Another big reason we decided to stay at this park was the pool and the pool is out of order right now. So with the pool out of commission I could've stayed at any park and had a better spot. This park has excellent reviews and has one plenty awards, but I do not understand how that happened.
