For Washburn City Park: We were looking for a place to stay convenient to the Lewis and Clark interpretive center in Washburn. We're self contained and don't use the facilities. We stayed here on a Saturday night.
This is a lovely primitive campground, right on the banks of the Missouri River. The website gave no information on how to reserve nor on rates. We arrived late to find a sign stating we needed a permit to camp, without instructions for how to obtain one. There is a general city phone number on the city website. There are no hookups. There is a well maintained bathroom, no showers. There is no wifi. There is decent ATT and Verizon cell coverage. There were no other RVs on a Saturday night in August.
The Lewis and Clark interpretive center is 1.5 miles from the park.
