For Cedar Point Campground: Stayed here 3 nights in Feb. 2017, including over part of Veteran's Day weekend. Great location, no trouble getting a site without a reservation. Virtually emptied out by Mon. night. Recently renovated by USFS - but too bad they didn't add water at each campsite. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the restrooms didn't get cleaned even one time during our entire stay. I expect better than that if I'm paying $30+ per night.

For Cedar Point Campground: This has always been one of our favorite campgrounds. the spots are well spaced and all naturally wooded. most of the ground cover is grass and pine needles. spots are paved and sized to accommodate full families and pets. the value of its proximity to coastal attractions goes without saying. We do recommend reserving early through reserveamerica.com as this is always a popular campground. They do keep 4 sites as FCFS but they are almost always taken. spots do not have water, sewer or cable and I don't believe there is WiFi but it doesn't factor into my ratings as we don't need any of those amenities. RV sites do have 20/30/50 amp power. Potable water is available in close proximity to most sites, dump station is new and great, and bath facilities are exactly what one expects from state/fed campgrounds - very utilitarian but functional.

For Cedar Point Campground: Tried this NF Campground because of the low price and electrical hookup. Great campground, wonderful hosts - will definitely return.

Sachmo

For Cedar Point Campground: Newly refurbished campground. Wooded sites . Very nice and quiet with nice surroundings. Would have stayed more than one night if we had the time.

For Cedar Point Campground: Only stayed one night, but it was nice. Hosts were very nice. Wasn't crowded so was able to park directly across from restrooms. Nice big level blacktop parking spot. It didn't bother me but these are electric only spots with a dump station and water fill station. You can also hear the "booms" from Camp Lejeune in the AM.
