For Oyster Point Campground: Primitive campground, clean and sites well separated. Very private and quiet. Host was super nice (ask about the wind chimes story). Sites are level and spacious, starting to get new picnic tables. Great price too, with our lifetime senior pass, we paid $5 for the night. Went in September, lots of spiders, lots! No-see-ums were pretty thick too. Entrance is hard to find, better turn as soon as you see the sign (1 mile entrance road). Take a kayak or canoe, easy to put in on the Newport river. Recommend foe end of season or early season.

For Oyster Point Campground: Nice large sites. No services but still great sites. Plus you can’t beat the price. Would have nice if there was a sign at the beginning of road. Only small picture of tent

Suzie
For Oyster Point Campground: Fairly nice campground altho no electric. Good dry camping but don't try to find the place in the dark, hard enough in the day light. A long dirt road, looks like a driveway without any, none, signage. Better have an app. Plus the road in is littered and trashy. People using it as a dump altho a trash facility is at the intersection. A bit of trash on the trails too. Overall not a heavily used place that is pretty decent.

For Oyster Point Campground: Relaxing site with hiking available. Seems to be a hidden gem this fall.
