For Carolina Hemlocks: 5 stars if you are n a tent or small camper. Larger campers would probably rate it lower. No hookups or dump. There are showers and water around the campground. Good place to swim and fish. Country store about 10 minutes away with basics. Very quite during the week.

For Carolina Hemlocks: This is a great campground in the Pisgah National Forest. There are tent sites and RV sites. Some with river views. And it is all about the river here! Great tubing. Hiking. And very close to Mt. Mitchell.
