For Rocky Knob Campground - Blue Ridge Parkway National Park: Stayed here a few nights end of July during Floyd Fest. Quite a few campers were attending the fest.
My third time here and it seemed even better than before. This park is so quiet, relaxing and friendly!
Beautiful Rocky knob Park/picnic area nearby for great hiking with fewer woodtick concerns. (A lot of quartz rocks in this area.) I love going to Floyd for great shopping, food, and entertainment Thursday to Sunday. Super friendly people everywhere!

For Rocky Knob Campground - Blue Ridge Parkway National Park: This is a lovely, friendly campground. Saturday night they have free music which was very nice. Bathroom is very clean and properly maintained & has electricity so a lady can do her hair. The main asphalt road through the camp is very bumpy and rough which is why it lost a star.Campground is only 8 miles from Floyd which has wonderful Mountain music every Friday evening in numerous spots downtown. I stayed here 2 nights a couple weeks ago when they had no water so bathrooms were closed. All is fine now. I stayed 2 nights again.

For Rocky Knob Campground - Blue Ridge Parkway National Park: Nice park -1-2bars of att - only issue is the sites are not the levelest- definitely need blocks if you are not lucky to find one that is close to level
