For Asheville Bear Creek RV Park: This place is falling apart, oh! And the "heated pool" yep... that's a lie... it is an old pool that is falling apart, liner falling out and is as cold as ice water! It is only open during office hours so if you plan to do anything in town forget going to the pool in the evenings ... I would not recommend this place to anyone!

For Asheville Bear Creek RV Park: The staff was great till we arrived... great right up until they charged me $90 for two nights in the tiniest spot you have ever seen .. my camper is 22' and I had to try and maneuver it so my car would still half way fit.. then I had no picnic table.. I called the office just to ask if this site did or didn't have a table as it was kinda hard to tell which spots went with what tables and the lady told me to hold for a second.. I guess she thought I was on hold because next I heard was "I can't even deal with this" then I was mad!!!! The fact that I was paying the same as everyone else that had huge sites with views and my site is next to the road and no picnic table to speak of... I am sad that this is my first time ever camping in my brand new travel trailer and this is the experience that I am having.. I wish that I could just leave but I will lose the money if I leave.. don't come here! It is a parking lot.. if u do want to come here then make sure you book in advance because then you might could get a better site! This place sucks!! They did refund me $10 because of the treatment.. one of the ladies came down to see about the picnic table and basicly said we could use the neighbors.. but that feels wrong.. sigh.. glad we r just here two nights

For Asheville Bear Creek RV Park: This is an unusual park. It has multiple levels. You want to pick a spot on the same road as the office but on the left hand side for great views. They are back-in spots. We requested pull through but they are in an undesirable location near the road. The spaces are paved. They are very close. However, some are pretty steep and unlevel. Ours was fine. The only washroom near us was under the office and a bit of a walk so we didn't use it. I saw two washers and two dryers in same building as office. There was a pool but not open yet as its only mid-April. Another reviewer said there was no cable or wi-fi. Our experience is great cable and the best wi-fi we've ever had at a campground or RV Park. It's super close to downtown Asheville. We enjoyed our three night stay.

For Asheville Bear Creek RV Park: This campground has some interesting reviews.
Not our first choice for Asheville and surrounds but once settled it's a nice campground.
Following the gps will give you heartburn so take their advice and take exit 47 off I40 and follow the signs to the park.
Drive very slowly - you won't want to miss a turn.
Our site was level as most seem to be. They are smaller than you would like but workable.
Definitely not a destination campground but a convenient spot to visit the Smokeys.

For Asheville Bear Creek RV Park: The only thing this park has going for it is its proximity to Asheville. The office closes at 5pm and the store is a joke. The sites, although paved, appears to have been paved 20 years ago. Very uneven, some with steep inclines to back into. I saw a brand new American coach crack is rear cap and shred his rock guard trying to back into a site. I spoke with several other folks who were also very disappointed in the sites. I will not return to this park.

For Asheville Bear Creek RV Park: Very rude staff. Wifi and cable doesn't work. Park management out and out lied to us. Skip this place for a more pleasing stay in Asheville.

For Asheville Bear Creek RV Park: We spent memorial day weekend here after fleeing a tropical depression in Hilton head. Glenda helped us find a spot and when we arrived just after dark Ricky helped us park our 40 ft A in the last spot avail. His directions were so good the neighbors around us cheered for not scratching up their RVs and pick up trucks. Great view over the mountains as well, quick approach to the interstate and Biltmore.
