For South Kouchibouguac Campground - Kouchibouguac National Park: This is a great gem of a place. Let me start by saying the bathrooms are the nicest I have ever seen camping. The showers are in a main bath house, with a private room for each shower. There is a 5 foot wide bench to place your belongings, as well as several hooks. They are clean and nicely appointed, and ample hot water, with wand that is removable. They are something one might see in a private country club! Really, they are nice. The place is a bikers paradise. I believe they have about 100 miles of bike/hiking trails, almost all flat. We had a nice wooded spot and had no issues with noise or crowding. But we did have quite a few caterpillars - must have been the season, but they were harmless and very curious. Highly recommended - we stayed in site 243 with full hook-ups. ALSO - they sell great firewood here. Individually bagged, and dry!! Burned great!

For South Kouchibouguac Campground - Kouchibouguac National Park: In early June this is a great park. The cycling is extensive and very easy with hardly any elevation changes. The views of Northumberland Strait, the river and forests were beautiful. There is a range of sites from private forested to open lawns. We had full services. There were naturalist programs on the weekend but nothing during the week. It wasn’t too busy and we didn’t encounter any security issues.

For South Kouchibouguac Campground - Kouchibouguac National Park: Campground one of the noisiest we have ever stayed in. We camped the long weekend in September, and the campground was terrible with al l the noise from barking dogs and loud radios. It did not matter time of day, always excess noise. We stayed at our campsite most of the weekend, and we did not see one security vehicle. Other than the lack of enforcement, this is a beautiful park. Over 60km of bike trails most of which are well maintained. The beach is beautiful and stretches for about 8 km. The hiking trails are well maintained and usually less than a km long. If it wasn't for the unprofessional handling of security, this park is a gem.

For South Kouchibouguac Campground - Kouchibouguac National Park: Not all sites equipped with wifi. Spacious playground, nice and maintained sites.
