For Lewis and Clark RV Park: Easy access to interstate. Owner was pleasant and good resource for information about Canada. So it is clean and maintained. Unusual set up as far as how coaches are parked. Your door and honoring's are facing the gravel road. I stayed for two nights. Would stay again.

For Lewis and Clark RV Park:
The owners are wonderful people. He is a wealth of knowledge and willing to share.
Listen to him. He saved us from taking things to Canada that we shouldn't take but were going to. The border patrol WILL search your motor home. They know all the hiding places. We got searched for over an hour. Luckily, I listened and took his advice.
We will always stay at Lewis and Clark when in MT. We had a wonderful trip to Alaska
via Canada. It could have turned out much different had we not stopped in Shelby at
Lewis and Clark RV Park before crossing the border, and listened to this wonderful mans advice.
He saved me from fines and maybe jail. I am forever grateful.
As concerns of these negative reviews most all RV Parks / Campgrounds have a Rules and Regulations on their site maps that the customer signs on the registration slip that He / She will abide by while staying at the facility when checking in,
a SPEED LIMIT and STOP AT OFFICE posted when entering their parks.
This owner has the right protect and to stop people from throwing rocks in his park regardless
of how many campers are in his park. I doubt very much that he acted as badly as this person
makes him out him to be. A grown-up teaching children disrespect for other peoples property is just plain wrong.

For Lewis and Clark RV Park: If I could give it zero stars I would! We stopped here for one night. We have a smaller camper so only needed a 20-amp hookup but were given a space with a 30-amp hookup. Ok, no big deal... Except that our power kept shutting off all evening, over and over. They listed a whopping 7 channels on their cable list, including one which is "house choice". We were not able to get any when we hooked up our cable. We hooked up to the water, and I got a whopping 2 minutes into my shower before the hot water shut off. To top it all off, in the morning my step-dad took my son for a walk (the place is very small, just gravel-covered roads with a smattering of grass here and there, no landscape to speak of) up and down the roads to stretch their legs. We were one of only 5 people camped there, and far away from anyone else. They picked up a few rocks on the gravel road and threw them to other parts of the gravel road - not into the grass, not at anyone, NO HARM being caused whatsoever and the gravel there is so thick that a small handful of rocks being dispersed from one place to another made no difference whatsoever. The owner saw them, opened his window, and proceeded to swear up a storm - at my SEVEN YEAR OLD son and an old man! My step-dad brought my son back to the camper (he was scared half to death, thought the owner was going to beat up my step-dad!) and went up to the house to apologize. The owner continued to swear at him, refused to accept his apology, and told him to get the $@ out and never return to their campground. WOW. Never again, and would strongly advise against anyone going here!!!

For Lewis and Clark RV Park: Stopped in mid-day for some TP and a brochure. Since the entire campground is clearly visible from both the entry road and from the office I was able to see that although it is an older campground it was well maintained. Upon learning we were on the way to Glacier NP the woman in the office had some helpful recommendations on where to stay and what to see. Did not go in the bathhouse but based on the rest of the campground I would expect the bathhouse to be showing its age but clean. I gave it 3 stars because by all appearances it would be an acceptable overnight stopping place. There was a sign in the store saying the campground was for sale.

For Lewis and Clark RV Park: This place is run by a nasty little man named Robert. We drove through to check it out and were headed to the office when he came out and stood in front of my car waving his arms to make me stop. When I stopped he asked what I thought we were doing. I tried to explain my boyfriend was working in Shelby and we were checking out places to park the camper, he said I was lying. I asked him to calm down and tried to explain we were coming over to the office to talk to him after we had driven through and he again said I was full of it. He stated that we were just out joy riding, he said he saw my plates and I had no intention of camping there or stopping at the office. He continued to tell me I was lying and that we were just out joy riding and had no business in the RV park. He become very rude and insulting. I will never recommend this park to anyone and I will make sure everyone I know hears about the nasty little man named Robert that runs the site.
