For Lost Creek State Park: Wonderful and quiet place to stay. Park fees were $23 for out of towners, $18 for MT residents. No hookups but did have drinking water pumps. Pack in, pack out. Bonus: Wild raspberries growing all over the place! My boys had a field day picking them.

For Lost Creek State Park: I think the sites were $11 a night, and it came with the standard pit toilets. Nothing to write home to mom about, but enough to write a review.

For Lost Creek State Park: This is a very well maintained state park with varied sites. The campground is really in several parts, with a site here and there along the campground road, and then a batch of sites in a loop next to the hiking trail to the waterfalls. There is a nice HP accessible picnic area at the height of the loop by restrooms and trailhead.

The steep canyon walls mean that the park is shaded in the morning and late afternoon. We were there in August and found it chilly at those times, but a nice campfire takes care of that.

The sites are level, with some tree cover yet not too shaded or dark, great new picnic tables on concrete pads, and the right distance between sites.

Except for the trail, there is not a lot of outdoor activity, but I brought a mountain bike and enjoyed riding the park road. Because the first part of the camground is spread out, you can get a decent ride on the road without hitting civilation.

For town activities, there is always Anaconda or Butte nearby.

All in all a very peaceful place. I'd go again. On a really hot Montana day, this would be a good place to find relief.
