For Rocky Mountain Campground: We absolutely loved our stay at this park! So perfect for visiting Yellowstone everyday and walking around enjoying this great little town. Really kind & accommodating staff & great office camp store! The sites are a little on the tighter side, but not any tighter than anywhere else,THE PROBLEM IS- randomly planted juvenile trees all with branches sticking out about 10-13 ft tall.. SO our 32ft class A 12+ft tall could not fit in our spot due to height. They were really amazing finding us a diff spot & cutting branches on a busy 4th of July holiday weekend & it worked out perfect! Lots of happy campers here! Sad to leave!

For Rocky Mountain Campground: Clean, but sites are way too close together for my comfort. Lots of rules. Dog "park" is small but clean. Just down the road from the Yellowstone entrance. Clean showers. Just up the hill from the main street of Gardiner.

For Rocky Mountain Campground: Great location at the North entrance of Yellowstone. Views are unbelievable. Please sure to look over the edge by the cabins for elk in the morning and evening.

For Rocky Mountain Campground: This park is clean and close to Yellowstone and has a few good sites with a view. Those are the only positives, and I wouldn't recommend it unless you like high control and lots of rules. The staff are gruff and this was the only place where i had to give the breed of my pooch. There is a 12x12 piece of grass for a pet park with a "video surveillance" sign. There are gates all over. You are locked in at night although you can open the gate to get back in and have the campground nazi follow you back to your site. Too many rules for us. We stayed at the other large park in town which was more to our liking and on the river with a nice place along the river to take a walk.

For Rocky Mountain Campground: Well maintained, $2 for a load of laundry(!!!), excellent wifi, the park has a wonderful view overlooking YP and the Yellowstone River. However you will not see it from your rig because you will be crammed in like a sardine in a can, with hardly room to extend a slide. For me the lack of a reasonable amount of space ruins what could be a great rv resort. Camped here in a motorhome.
