Ranger Rod

For Horseshoe Bend - Bighorn Canyon National Rec Area: We enjoyed our one night here especially the hike thru the wild mustang preserve. We saw lots from the car and a few from the trail. They were beautiful to see in their natural environment. The sites had good privacy and were level. We didn’t have much internet connection thru Verizon. We would stay here again.

Semi Hex

For Horseshoe Bend - Bighorn Canyon National Rec Area: The worst weather (rain and wind) did not stop us from enjoying this site. Water and 50amp power, a waste drain station close by. Easy to get to, close to all the exciting places that this park has to offer.

Wayne

For Horseshoe Bend - Bighorn Canyon National Rec Area: No longer NRA camp. Currently administered by concessionaire. Water-electric site $25. NO DISCOUNTS (including Golden Age) are honored. About half of sites are no hook ups. W-E sites are large, clean, and level. Almost no shade in park. Marina has limited menu cafe. River cruse ($42) is excellent. Canon rim drive is great.

LuckyPenny Guy

For Horseshoe Bend - Bighorn Canyon National Rec Area: Great RV parking!
Beautiful views from the park.
Nice hiking trails
No trouble getting in on Tuesday but the weekend filled up fast with people fighting over spots.
Rules were a little less than most National Recreation areas.
Water and electricity. Dump station really close.
Wind. Wind and more wind.
Did I say WIND?

Clean bathrooms
We are going back again in the fall.
