For Sunset RV Park: Wow! What can I say except this may be one of the friendliest RV stays ever. John, the owner, is very attentive. Each site provides water and power 50/30 amp. John comes around every few days and uses a suction trailer to empty your gray and black water. Beautiful property which includes areas of the Cut Bank River. You can wade or swim or just sit in the river in your chair. 1 hour to Glacier East entrance (St Mary entrance). Also, an hour from Waterton Canada which is the Canadian side of Glacier. This location also provides stunning sunsets from an elevated position and lots of trails to walk in the evening. Cut Bank has an Albertsons and the usual fast food plus the Cut Bank Brewery. If you are looking for an alternative slower pace than the west side of Glacier then this is it! John also hosted the entire park to Elk Burgers and potluck one evening. We will be back again and again to this park!

For Sunset RV Park: Closest reasonable decent park we could find close to Glacier.
Sites were fine for 31’ rig with tow.
Got invited to owner sponsored BBQ first night we arrived.
Fun and lots of inside info resulted.
Site is very interesting and unique with great scenic views.
Bathrooms and laundry were clean and generously sized.
Prior review said 1/2 hour to east side of park - maybe in a Indy car. More like one hour for mere mortals like us.
Don’t let the entry thru the city maintenance yard throw you. No big deal.
Good groceries and fuel very close.
Would readily stay here again

For Sunset RV Park: Good overnight stop. mostly pull through sites with Water and Electric, Nice owners who recently took over from previous owner and were hard at work making improvements. The sites are gravel and close together. Didn’t use the facilities so can’t comment. The trail down to the creek is nice and was our favorite feature. Wifi had strong signal but limited bandwidth making it useless for any thing other than checking email. 2 bars of Verizon LTE on my Iphone. This campground will only get better with the new owners. looking forward to stopping here again the next time we pass through.

Gloria
For Sunset RV Park: New owners this year:
Pros: new bathrooms and laundry. Very clean.
Nice owners
Beautiful walking trail to the river that surrounds the site
Small Park
1/2 hour from East entrance to Glacier NP and 1+ hour to West entrance. East entrance is closed in 2020.
Grocery, Pizza Hut and McDonald's within walking distance.
Cons: It’s a desert and rock area. Not trees and grass. Not a pretty site as you enter.
No sewer
Must drive through an industrial area to the property.

For Sunset RV Park: New management early 2020. John is super nice and helpful. New coin washer/dryer ($2/load). Clean, roomy showers & toilet areas. Nice footpath to river. Great overnight enroute to Glacier NP.

Extending our weeken
For Sunset RV Park: Sits at the end of 4th street, just a few blocks off of HWY 2. Quick and friendly check in, small laundry (2 ea w/d). Clean restrooms, 2 coed rooms with tub and shower. Sits on a hill overlooking the river. Few hiking trails. Nothing fancy but fairly level gravel sites. W/E with dump station. Made for a very nice overnight stop. Would definitely stop here again.

Mike
For Sunset RV Park: Very nice campground tucked away by a river overlook. Owner was very friendly. We arrived late on Monday of Labor Day. Self checked in. He came down later and refunded part of our paid fee because we weren't really using that much
Very nice, clean bath house. Showers and restrooms are located in large building that has a sitting room with a tv, books and a microwave. Great for getting out of the wind and having a place to wait.
Right at the west edge of town. Would definitely stay here again.
