For Bozeman Trail Campground: Good for one night only. This campsite is real near interstate 90 and a railroad tracks so there is constant noise throughout the day. The sites are on top of each other. WiFi was poor at best. There is no cable. No pool. On a positive note, it is in a good location if you are visiting Bozeman.

Decent place to stay
For Bozeman Trail Campground: The campground wasn’t bad, wasn’t great. The site I had shared the hookups with the site next to me which luckily wasn’t occupied. So there wasn’t an issue. It was a place to stop on the way to another destination and fit the bill just fine. As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe there. I would stay overnight again, but isn’t somewhere I would go to spend a “vacationâ€.

For Bozeman Trail Campground: Of course, I have to start off with the noise.. Everyone has stayed at RV parks next to interstates before. You know to expect some noise just based on the location. For some reason, this is the loudest RV park I’ve ever come across. I have a couple more hours until a spot opens at another RV park... I can’t wait to be able to hear myself think again. It’s that loud.
I stayed at this park a few years back. Luckily, I spent most of my time with family in town, so didn’t spent much time at the RV at all. The park was run down then and is a bit worse now. It is clean, no trash to be seen. Just not a hint of any improvements. They don’t have a fenced dog area, or any dog area really... just have to find some grass away from sites. WIFI is normal (not great, but I’ve had much worse).
They now use online reservations, which is nice.. unfortunately, even when you pick a site, you’ll probably get placed in a different site unless you pay a ‘surcharge’ to guarantee the site you want.
Bottom line, If you absolutely need to stay in Bozeman and can’t get in somewhere else, it’ll work. Otherwise, keep driving down the road... the next place is bound to be better.

For Bozeman Trail Campground: Called to get a campsite for a few days, was told they were 90%full. Then didn’t say anything, had to ask if he (Joe) had one spot in that 10% that was open. Said he had one small site with power only for two nights and could move to a full hookup the third night. We were in the area so we went to check it out. The site was OK. Then he tells me it’s only available for one night and didn’t remember telling my wife about the full hookup sites.
Then start lecturing me about wearing a mask. Mind you I just got out of the truck to look at what was available. Didn’t get close to him, no I didn’t have a mask on we were outside.
I can appreciate his concern about COVID, but he told me I had to put on a mask. Went back to get one out of my truck, went back in w/ mask on but no one was there. Said hello but no answer, about 10sec. later he came out. In a very rude tone told me I had to put on a mask witch at that time I was putting it back on. Then I told him I would like the one site he had left. He then said rudely “let’s just part ways†So we left.
I really don’t like to talk bad about anyone, but when you are dealing with the public you don’t start off with a lecture about what you’re doing wrong and don’t have information for a paying customer.

For Bozeman Trail Campground: My husband said “I feel like I’m in the middle of the 405 in Los Angeles!†I said “WHAT?!, I can’t hear you with all the freeway noise and the truck J brakes!â€. Very tight sights. Find the Walmart parking lot over this.

For Bozeman Trail Campground: There aren’t a lot of options when choosing a campground close to Bozeman. We stayed here twice, once at the beginning of summer and then in fall. You can heat the trains but that didn’t bother us at all. The campground is clean, well maintained and our sites were level. The dvd collection is the best out of all campgrounds we’ve been to!! Love the cosy lounge area. They decorated for fall and it was pretty! I liked that as it made it welcoming and homey. We would happily stay here again.

For Bozeman Trail Campground: This was our first night in our rented 25' motorhome so we didn't know what to expect. Marty and Maryjo are awesome! It was raining the afternoon we got here and Marty still put on his rain coat and came out to direct us to our site and help me back the jalopy in. We were lucky enough to be right near the bathrooms/laundry which was great for us. The bathroom is small - only 2 of each - but it as hooks, basket and seat in each which we appreciated. The laundry room has a selection of brochures to check out while you wait and an iron and ironing board as well as a change machine. Yes, the sites are petty close together but as were were just overnight it didn't bother us. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars is the stinking loud all night train. Not any fault of the owners we understand but if you can't cope with the noise then this is probably not the place for you. We hope to stay there again on our return to Bozeman in a few weeks.
