For Le Fleurs Bluff State Park: Stayed overnight at Le Fleurs Bluff State Park Campground site #14, but wish we could stay a bit longer. For around $23/night electricity/water, the natural park beauty and price cannot be beat! Camp sites are in the middle of the large cypress pond, with beautiful and private view from our trailer window during sunset. Bathroom construction is typically on stilts, with little privacy in showers due to no door or hooks. Washer & dryer also on the second floor. Dump station is at the exit. Road in/out is mostly gravel and little muddy at time, really expect at least paved road into the campground for it smacks right in the middle of the Jackson, Mississippi. Due to it location, supplies run or trailer repair/upgrade is pretty easy. WiFi is non-existence, but LTE is decent. Will came back again if we pass this way again.

For Le Fleurs Bluff State Park: Nice location, a surprisingly quiet locale in the middle of Mississippi's capital city. But the campground is in disrepair and appears to have been flooded recently. In fact, I arrived behind a major frontal passage with several inches of rain having fallen and I overheard a comment It looks like we won't have to evacuate. The rain had passed but the lake level was just inches from intruding on several of the parking spots. This problem probably explains the poor condition of the paving and gravel road surfaces. There were also a few low limbs overhanging the roadway that need to be cut. The whole park looks more like an underfunded private venture rather than a government facility in a capital city. It would have made a better impression in dry weather I'm sure.

For Le Fleurs Bluff State Park: Decent camping. Perfect location for our visit to Jackson. Camping sites right on lake, which is rather stagnant, but pretty, and did not smell like a swamp. Enjoyed watching egrets. Many mature trees and shade. Bath house just okay. Playground on opposite side of lake was fun, but walking there took forever. Fishing docks too.

For Le Fleurs Bluff State Park: Very nice small campground. We had a site right on the water. Clean and well maintained. VERY reasonably priced. Not far to the Jackson Museums. No Internet.

For Le Fleurs Bluff State Park: The campground was quiet and well maintained except for the bath house. Could use some attention. Shower curtains were old and in need of replacement. Laundry facilities were not in working order. Despite this, it's always nice to be in nature when in a bigger city. Close enough to Vicksburg to make a day trip to Vicksburg National military park.

For Le Fleurs Bluff State Park: This is a hidden gem. The campsites Are shaded and spacious. Many of the larger sites are not very level, and if you are in a big rig the two best will be sites 16 and 17. Wonderful people! We are only here for a night, but wish we could stay much longer.

For Le Fleurs Bluff State Park: Great location in Jackson near wonderful museums, shopping, and restaurants. I spent 3 nights there on my way from northern Illinois to the gulf coast. Good place to organize the travel trailer for the season and an easy drive to campsites from New Orleans to Florida. Campground roads and bathhouse could be improved but camp sites are great. I am now at Buccaneer SP in Waveland MS which is in a class by itself. My favorite in the south.
