For Babler State Park: Nicest park near St. Louis. State park with paved roads, patios and sites. Electric only (hence the 3 star rating), decent WiFi. Entire park is gated at night. Lots of biking and hiking trails and picnic shelters and pool in park. Very affordable, we stay here frequently when in St. Louis.

For Babler State Park: Probably the best campground in St. Louis area as long as you don't mind electric only sites. THERE IS NO POOL. It was hit by lightning years ago and not fixed. Nice area for bike riding.
