For Van Meter State Park: Stayed in a 21’ trailer for 2 nights (Sunday & Monday). Scenic park like setting with mature trees for shade. Level sites. Very clean. Bathrooms not really centrally located. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Only one other tent camper there while we were there. Only downsides were little pesky gnats especially in the evening and no dump station

For Van Meter State Park: Beautiful campground! Nice large sites. Very well kept. Nice clean restrooms. Ranger was awesome! Only $19 with 30amp electric.

For Van Meter State Park: Very quiet. Deserted when we were there, other than host. Watch the road into the place.
