For KOA Holiday St Louis West Route 66: Very good commercial campground. Wide spacing, lots of trees for shade, easy access in 40' motorhome with tow. Lots of facilities for kids, big fun trikes, pool, playground. Full hookup easy to reach. Have stayed here twice for overnights and will do so again.

For KOA Holiday St Louis West Route 66: To all who gave this a five star, I must take issue. The road noise alone should keep it from a five. And then the showers. I used the one in the back of the park. Only 2 showers. No locking door, just a curtain. One of the showers had no place to sit and just two hooks. Their is no edge to the shower, so the water runs out. Just not a good experience. But there are lots of trees.

For KOA Holiday St Louis West Route 66: Nice place. Clean and well kept. Staff very friendly and helpful. It is a KOA, so it is full of kids and noise. Lots of trees. Wifi is pretty much non existence. Cable tv is not the best, but functional. Very rustic sites for pull-throughs but level and full hookups. Ok for a few nights.

For KOA Holiday St Louis West Route 66: Very clean and friendly. Office personnel escorted us to our site and made sure all was okay. Lots of shade to help beat the heat. Spots are a little tight (A31) but not an issue. Parking was pretty close to level and gravel pad is well maintained. There are trains going by frequently, but it is not a crossing where you hear air horns. You simply hear the rumble of the train on the tracks. Next to Bus 44, but not loud during the night hours. Close to shopping and dining.
There are two entrance/exits to park. When coming from I-44, take second entrance into park. When leaving, take northeastern exit so you can see traffic coming from left. They are coming at highway speed and primary exit will not allow you to see cars coming from over hill to your left.

For KOA Holiday St Louis West Route 66: The biggest con to staying here is the train that runs past quite frequently during the late afternoon and evening. Not a quiet place to stay.

For KOA Holiday St Louis West Route 66: The new owners (here a little over a year now) are working hard upgrading and improving the park. The staff have been very friendly and this is the first RV park we've been in after 5 weeks of travel that has had Wi-Fi access good enough to video Skype our grand daughter. It was a real treat and I highly recommend this KOA - the best I've stayed at.
