Laurel
For Arrow Rock State Historic Site: Quiet, pleasant campground with many trees. There are many pull-through sites, but most are not level at all. You may need several blocks. Restrooms and shower rooms are clean and well-kept, though if you want the more modern individual toilet/shower combination you won’t find it here. Beautiful meadows. It was fun to take the short walk into the historic town of Arrow Rock. The buildings are varied and charming. It has one or two shops and restaurants, but check whether they’re open. Be wary, though; the paved walk goes deep down to the bottom of a gulch, then up to the top again. Although it’s right on the Missouri River, there’s no view of the river from either the campground or the hamlet.

For Arrow Rock State Historic Site: Great SP about 13 miles off interstate. Very quiet. We drove through cute ‘downtown’ Blackwater MO. I wish we had stopped and taken a few pictures.

Marybeth
For Arrow Rock State Historic Site: We love this park because it is very beautiful, quiet, and close to the little town of Arrow Rock, Missouri. Completely paved roadway to walk to the town. It does have some negatives. Some of the sites are pretty steep grade so bring plenty of leveling blocks. Also the Wi-Fi is extremely weak. And for US cellular customers, there is no Internet service here. But all in all, wonderful park for both RVs and tent camping.

Wandering Sandals
For Arrow Rock State Historic Site: We stayed a night at Arrow Rock Historic campground for $21. Seems to be the going rate for just electric hookup up-and-down Missouri these days. Camp host came around and collect fee in the evening. Our pull through site #22 has enough warm sun in the morning and good shade in the evening to keep us comfy. Why was the site paved but But none of the sites here are leveled, so leveling blocks needed here. A dated but clean and functional bathroom is short walk away. No WiFi and weak LTE/3G inside campground. Water spigots is short distance away. Dump station is in the middle of intersection near the exit. The park is large and mostly paved make it fun to walk our pooch. Love to come back but the price and lack of WiFi make us look elsewhere.

Diane S
For Arrow Rock State Historic Site: Clean, quiet. Adjacent to the historic town site. Many of the sites were steep but we were able to find a pull through we could fit in.

James Fry
For Arrow Rock State Historic Site: Good camping. We were here in early June on a Wednesday. In the tent section where we camped we were the only ones there. This area was not near the RV area. Tent was pitched on grass with a slight hill. Water was close as well as free showers (though the showers are in need of repair and we're not particularly clean - thus the loss of a star). A playground was close with large grassy areas available for frisbee or other outdoor games. We were told by the camp host that on weekends the campground is often full. I would go back again.
