For Split Rock Lighthouse State Park: This may be the most beautifully laid out camp I’ve used. We were up on the high hill (Shipwreck creek). Sites are widely spaced and spacious.
There are a few quirks to be aware of but I still give it five stars.
There is no sanitary dump station or RV fill station.
Most of the attractions: lighthouse, shore, hiking trails; are on the lake side a few miles away.
The lighthouse is a State Historical Society, facility society members are free but otherwise it is $10 or $12. It is beautiful.
Your state sticker gets you into Gooseberry and Tatagouch, spectacular waterfalls at both.

For Split Rock Lighthouse State Park: Best campground on north shore. Beachfront sites are best and convenient but up on the hill is good too. All very secluded with views.
