For KOA Holiday Minneapolis Southwest: Friendly staff! Great, very large indoor pool saved our rainy weekend. Sites are a bit tight. We had a gravel site but the gravel was plentiful; no dust so that is good. Nice play area. 4 band Verizon access.1-2 ATT

For KOA Holiday Minneapolis Southwest: - Friendly staff. - Sites are on a hill. You will need your blocks. - Dump station is poor. The hose from it is cut off so you have to disconnect their hose from the top of the water tower and put yours on. While also there is a small hole which I think is to drain the water into the dump but if you don’t watch it, it will drain your sewage out. - Bathrooms are cleanish. - The pool is nice and big. Inside too. Probably just as clean as any public pool. - Prices is too high for what you get. Overall the northern KOA is better with a lower price tag except their staff is passive aggressive.

For KOA Holiday Minneapolis Southwest: Stayed 6 nights in June and it was lovely. Best part for us was the large mature trees. Most sites have at least partial shade ours (108) had shade all day which made for a nice setting. Yes, it’s an older park and the roads are mostly gravel and narrower than many newer parks, but we had no issues with a 35ft 5th wheel getting into a back in site. Nice staff, was offered an escort to help, I declined but a staff person walked over as we were backing just to see if they could help. Did not use most facilities but the grounds were well kept, the mature trees were trimmed where they needed to be for big rigs. Everything that we used and needed worked just fine. I will stay here again.

For KOA Holiday Minneapolis Southwest: Overzealous golf cart employees, borderline rude…. I’ve never been dressed down this many times at a campsite, it’s day two and I’ve had a different old white guy on a golf cart rush up and get in my face for some rather minor things. First of all, I’m the customer so I’m always right. I’m 62 years old and served 34 years in the military, you need to address me properly and keep your petty BS to your self. I won’t be back.

For KOA Holiday Minneapolis Southwest: Sites very close together. 90% of the staff friendly and helpful. Showers were great. Indoor pool, minigolf, play area and wagon rides. Management escorts you to your site, I thought this was a bit much for our small van but it must be nice for bigger rigs. We stopped nearby at the worlds largest candy store - be sure to go, much more than just candy. There was also a restaurant/bar/patio kitty corner across the street that had great food and a patio - Minnesotans love to eat on the patio!
