For KOA Holiday Detroit Ann Arbor: Campground is very dated, was a KOA is no longer and certainly not at KOA standards. Be very careful there are more potholes here than I have ever seen at best you’ll need a new alignment at worst you’ll probably break an axle.

For KOA Holiday Detroit Ann Arbor: We stayed in a pull through in the open area in a 36' pusher. Mostly grass/dirt but level and firm. Clear view for satellite. The road in and the pull throughs are suitable for big rigs. Plenty of separation between sites. Located on a private lake with swimming area, water slide, and paddle boats. Also horseshoes, miniature golf and play area for youngsters. Wooded area for real campers, see other comments. Nice park, would stay again.

For KOA Holiday Detroit Ann Arbor: The campsite in the woods was way too tight for our 36' motorhome. We barely could put out our slides and could not use any of our awnings. The recessed fire pit was filled with garbage. The site was very sandy without any grass. The campground seemed to be also in a flight path for the airport. There were not constant planes, just early morning ones which woke us up. The wifi was very poor. We also anticipated that there would be cable when we were told there were full hookups...not so!

For KOA Holiday Detroit Ann Arbor: The site was ok, agree with everyone else about the internet, but with such a wooded area, there is not a lot they could do about that I guess.
My biggest complaint was I felt that the price per night should include free unlimited access passes each day to the slide and putt putt golf. That part was really annoying. We purposely came up to spend time with our grandson, and picked this place because of cool slide into the lake.

For KOA Holiday Detroit Ann Arbor: They claim to have WiFi, but it's a joke, which is a shame since there's not a lot to do after you walk around the lake a time or two.
The site we had couldn't handle the 30 amps we were supposed to have, and tripped (outside at the hookup) every time turned on the AC. Good thing it wasn't July, with 90 degree days. September in the 80s was bad enough.
There are also huge nuts falling from the trees this time of year that will pelt your tents or campers ALL NIGHT LONG.

For KOA Holiday Detroit Ann Arbor: Nice area but old and dated facilities. Lots of seasonal RV campers. Had a great site next to lake.

For KOA Holiday Detroit Ann Arbor: A former KOA campground. Largely wooded. No cable. No chance for Satellite in the woods. Too many trees too close to the driveways for big rigs. Recessed, unmarked fire pits in dangerous locations for large RVs. Overall it shows substantial wear and age. Not a good consumer value.
