For South Higgins Lake State Park: Nice campground on one of the largest inland lakes in Michigan. Campsites are comfortably sized with good tree cover. Pads are dirt, but roads are nicely paved. Would stay again.

For South Higgins Lake State Park: Reservation was made for full hook-up but was told when checking in that it was not available. If you like peace and quiet this is not the place. With all the add-on fees it is not any cheaper than a private campground.
